AED's
Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs)
AEDs are easy to use, compact, portable and can be very effective if used with good CPR (Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation). They are designed to be used by lay persons but it is University policy to provide hands on relevant training in the use of an AED.
HSD079E AEDs - First Aid Guidance
Training is available through the Safety Office, and is open to qualified First Aiders, staff who have completed Emergency First Aid Training and staff in departments where AED’s are located.
