Official Guidance on Schedule 5 Pathogens and Toxins

Under Part 7 of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001, it is an offence to store or work with certain organisms or toxins without prior permission. Therefore, anyone intending to work with a ‘Schedule 5 Agent’ should contact the Safety Office for further advice prior to commencing the project.
