Terms of Reference
To provide safety advice, supportive action and guidance on activities associated with building procurement from initial feasibility to post completion.
Evaluation of building plans and to develop policy and guidelines, monitoring of policy implementation, and to provide feedback on project management.
To have a good working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations and to advise on compliance with other statutory regulations relating to buildings and construction.
To provide training on health and safety matters relating to buildings and construction and to complement the work of other health and safety professionals throughout the University.
