We are pleased to share that there are still places for the Annual DSO Update Event. Many DSOs have already booked their place on this jam-packed morning, so please do sign-up if you haven’t already done so. This event provides DSOs with great networking opportunities as well as refreshing areas of safety knowledge and understanding relevant to your role. The exciting programme for the day will include talks on , ‘Managing Safety Training Records’, ‘How to safely manage traffic on site’ and more. We have shared the full agenda for your information below. 

The annual DSO Update event is an important part of the training the Safety Office provides to all DSOs, for us to communicate changes and updates that are relevant to your role in accordance with the University Health and Safety Policy. It is a great opportunity to refresh elements of your safety training and hear updates relevant to your role and the work you do in departments, and, of course, to meet and network with fellow DSOs and members of the Safety Office. We very much encourage you to attend and feel that this will be time well spent.
