Safety Management Hub reaches more Departments...

The Schools of Biological Sciences and Clinical Medicine have now been onboarded onto the Safety Management Hub, which makes up around 37% of all departments. Their Heads of Department have signed up to the standard Safety Statement of Intent, which references to the University Health and Safety Policy.

Many of the departments who have been contacted have completed their safety hazard and risk registers. Some departments have already shared benefits from viewing others' safety profiles and the Safety Office will soon have enough information to start targeting our support out to departments and across hazard areas.

We continue to help departments complete their registers and we will begin exploring the communication and safety arrangement elements of the Hub with keen departments.
